Anyone needing assistance with their Medicare questions can reach out to us at the Centre County Office of Aging through the PA MEDI program. The PA MEDI program provides unbiased, one-on-one insight to Medicare questions and can provide guidance in even the most complicated situations. Advice is free and appointments can be done either in person at our office or via phone. Our counselors are certified Medicare counselors. Our program is staffed with mostly volunteers who have completed trainings to become a certified counselor. Our counselors are well equipped to handle each unique situation. We also have outreach events at the local senior centers in Centre County where Medicare beneficiaries can get on-the-spot Medicare assistance during this open enrollment period. Feel free to check with your local center to see when we will be there.
The Centre County Office of Aging PA MEDI team takes Medicare counseling appointments year round as well, not just during the open enrollment period. You can call to make an appointment, or pop into the office if that is easier as well. Feel free to reach out to us anytime of the year with Medicare questions.
